Gabe Taylor's ridden Mammoth since '98. Backcountry and freestyle is his thing, and he's mentored a generation of riders who came up through Mammoth's park scene. This is the goggle he helped build.
The Backcountry Pro is a cylindrical snow goggle built for light that keeps moving on you. The orange lens sits at 22% VLT, which holds through changing conditions from bluebird through the flatter part of the day. The cylindrical shape gives you a 175 degree field of view. It also includes a second Smoke Black Lens with an 15% VLT for bright sunny days.
CLEAR EDGE™ PVD OPTICS
Not a sprayed-on tint. Each lens gets a precision, multi-layer PVD coating applied in a Satisloh optical coating system, so VLT stays consistent and color stays controlled across the whole lens.
